Watercolor California Coast
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on the blog. Time goes by so swiftly; I'm glad I captured this scene The original watercolor and full details can be found on Etsy .
The ocean and nature capture beautiful
memories. The inspiration for this painting is the Southern California
coastline. My work is a combination of what I see in nature and imagination.

Does Mood Influence Your Art?
People have asked me do you have to be “inspired” to paint
and I usually say no but mood does influence the subject matter in front of me.
Painting or constructing art is a process
of searching and researching in my mind and environment until I’m ready to say
it with paint…
This ACEO was a happy thought regarding a day at the
Carnival but it’s been raining and cloudy the miniature painting is a little
more moody and impressionistic... So did
the rain and my mood affect the painting?
